The story you wear
A mortar filled with herbs carries an unexpected mark: the sigil of Buer. In the Ars Goetia, Buer is described as teaching philosophy, logic and the properties of herbs and plants. The Hidden Apothecary draws on that botanical knowledge to imagine the working tools of someone devoted to understanding the natural world.
The mortar and pestle suggest knowledge put into practice. Fresh leaves sit alongside a gathered bundle, connecting discovery with the work of preparing and preserving what has been learned.
In this design, the apothecary becomes a celebration of attentive curiosity—the satisfaction of recognising a plant, understanding its history and finding another question worth exploring. A meeting of botanical tradition and occult lore for those who feel at home among gardens, herb books and curious old stories.
